Who we are
Emmanuel Teaching Mission (以馬內利教學使命團) ("ETM," "we") is a U.S. 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit. This policy describes what information our website collects and how we use it. It applies to the pages on this site, our registration and contact forms, and the emails we send about our trainings.

What we collect, and why
We collect personal information only when you give it to us:
- Training registration — your name, phone number, email address, optional church or organization affiliation, optional notes, your chosen registration option and payment method, your notification-language choice, and the time you consented to receive event notifications. We store this in our registration database in order to run the training: confirming your registration, sending payment instructions, sending event notifications, and issuing your fee receipt.
- Contact form — your name, email address, an inquiry category, and your message. Your message is emailed to our staff and is not stored on the website.
- We never ask for or store card or bank account numbers. Fees are paid by Zelle, PayPal, or mailed check; any card entry happens on PayPal's own pages under PayPal's terms.
Cookies, analytics & embedded content
- Cookies — the public website does not set cookies and does not use browser storage.
- Analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless service that gives us aggregate page-view counts. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and does not track you across sites.
- Spam protection — the registration and contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated bots. Turnstile checks signals from your browser, including your IP address; we do not log or store your IP address ourselves.
- Video — event videos are embedded from YouTube. A thumbnail image loads from YouTube's servers; the player itself (youtube-nocookie.com) loads only if you press play, at which point YouTube's privacy policy applies.
- Fonts are served from our own website — no font provider sees your visit.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to operate the site. Each receives only what it needs:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, our registration database, spam protection, and analytics.
- Resend — sends our transactional email (registration confirmations, event notifications, receipts).
- Google Workspace — the staff mailboxes that receive contact-form messages.
- YouTube — video playback, only after you press play.
- Zelle, PayPal, and banks process payments under their own terms — payment happens outside this website.
Event notifications & consent
When you register, you opt in to notifications for that event and choose the language you would like them in — English or Traditional Chinese. In this version of the site, notifications are sent by email only: a confirmation when you register; for online trainings, the meeting join details 1 day and 1 hour before the event; and your fee receipt after the event ends.
Text/SMS notifications may be offered in the future. They would require a separate, explicit opt-in and would include opt-out instructions.
How long we keep your information
Registration records support ETM's financial records and reporting, so some information is retained for accounting and tax purposes.

Your choices
Email us at emmanuelteachingmission@gmail.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will honor deletion requests except where a record is needed for ETM's financial or legal records.
Every notification relates to an event you registered for. If you no longer want them, reply to any of our emails or write to emmanuelteachingmission@gmail.com.
